Answer: Yes! We have been building custom garages in the Chicagoland area since 1979. There are numerous ways to customize the look of your garage while adding functionality.

Do you offer a warranty?

Answer: Yes. Blue Sky Builders, Inc.’ warranty covers labor and materials for 1 full year from the completion date. After 1 full year, the warranty for doors, windows, roofing, siding, etc. will be referred to the manufacturers warranty. Concrete work is not warranted against cracking, peeling, pitting, or scaling caused by road salt, frost heave, settling, or any other condition beyond our control.

Do I need a permit? How do I get a permit?

Answer: Yes, a permit is required. No worries, we will take care of that for you!

Do garages come with an opener?

Answer: Blue Sky Builders, Inc. offers LiftMaster garage door openers for all garages that we build. We can install these garage door openers for you when you build your new garage, or even fix existing garage door openers that you have.

What is a hip garage?

Answer: Hip garages are a common type of garage, especially in the Chicagoland area where we receive a lot of snow. Hip garages are four sided, as opposed to the two-sided gable roof. Here is an example of a hip garage we built: Hip Garage Gallery

What is a gable garage?
